High School Exchange?

Students who apply to the BEE program can be anybody from around the world.  They bring their rich cultural traditions to the US to share with their host families, schools, communities and other exchange students.  Each student has unique talents and aspirations and as with all teenagers, have a love for the experience of life and new ideas. The students are between the ages of 15 and 18, speak, read and write English well enough to study in high school classes. 

       

The BEE high school program is designated by the United States information Agency (USA) as an exchange vision programs.  BEE issues IAP-66 form which are used to obtain J-1 Visas. Visas are for an academic year or semester and can be issued only for one year. BEE staffs are highly experienced professionals who have an in-depth knowledge of the cultures of the former Soviet Union and other countries also of teenagers.  All staff spend part of each year in the native countries meeting students and parents and working with the foreign representatives.  Regular communications between the staff and foreign representatives is maintained via e-mail and phone.  Periodic updates on the students are sent to the foreign representatives to be made available to the natural families.
