How to Enroll

Please complete the Enrolment Form and send it to us with the non-refundable Enrolment Fee of $90 (plus optional Cancellation Insurance premium of $50 and courier fee of $100, if required).
As soon as we receive your Enrolment Form, we will confirm your acceptance on the course, enclosing an invoice detailing the payment due. Payment of the invoice must reach us at least 30 days before your course begins.
Please note: If you are enrolling on a course beginning within 30 days' time, you should send the Enrolment Fee, optional Cancellation Insurance Fee and Programme Fee along with the Enrolment Form. If you enroll on a course in the USA or Canada less than 30 days prior to the starting date, you will be charged an additional $50. This is to cover the cost of sending you the visa application documents by international courier service. In the unlikely event that we refuse your application, all of these fees will be returned to you immediately.
The Total Fees for Your Course

The total fees are as follows:
Enrolment Fee - $90

Optional transfer service from the nearest airport - $60
($80 in Munich, Rome and Paris)
The Programme Fee (this depends on the course you take and its duration, and the accommodation type chosen).
Optional Courier Fee - $100 (see How to Enroll above)

Payment
The Enrolment Fee and the Programme Fee can be paid in different ways:
1.        To your local BEE office or representative.
2.   By banker's draft.
3.    By international money order.
4. By direct transfer from your own bank to BEE's bank. (Please send a copy of this transaction with the Enrolment Form or invoice.)

Accommodation
Your accommodation is included in the Programme Fee. In the United States, Canada, Ecuador, Australia, Russia and China accommodation is reserved from the Saturday before the course starts to the Saturday (am) after its completion. In all other countries accommodation is reserved from Sunday to Saturday (am)
Arrival and Airport Transfers
When you complete the Enrolment-Form, you can indicate if you wish to be met by an BEE Representative at the nearest major airport to the school. The fee for this optional transfer from your airport of arrival is $60 ($80 in Paris, Munich and Rome); this covers the cost of administration, international telexes, greeting services and transportation.
The transfer service is offered between 0900 and 2100 hours on Saturdays in the USA, CANADA, Russia, China, Ecuador and Australia, between 0700 and 2300 on Sundays in the UK and between 0900 and 2100 hours on Sundays in the rest of Europe. If you arrive at any other time we can arrange a special transfer for you, at the cost of $120.
Age
International Language Schools are open to everyone aged 16 years and over.
Duration of Lessons
Language lessons have a duration of 40 minutes, except where stated otherwise on the individual location page.
Public Holidays
In the event of a Public Holiday in your host country, schools will be closed, unless otherwise stated in the student predeparture information, sent to you with your booking confirmation.
Cancellations and Refund Policy
All cancellations should be made to a BEE office or its representative. In all cases the Enrolment Fee, the Courier Fee and Optional Cancellation Insurance premium (see below) are non-refundable.
Cancellations
The Programme prices shown with each school description in this brochure comprise two elements: the Course Fee (50%) for tuition and the Student Services Fee (50%) which includes accommodation. The Course Fee is fully refundable if you cancel prior to arrival at the school. Additional refunds will be made from the Student Services Fee as follows:
-If you cancel 30 days or more before the start of the course you will receive a full refund, except for the fee above-enrolment, cancellation, insurance, and courier fees
-If you cancel less than 30 days prior to departure, BEE reserves the right to retain 40% of the Student Services Fee (up to a maximum of $1000) to cover the cost of prepaid accommodation/ transportation.
Withdrawals
If you wish to cut short your course once you have arrived at the school, you must notify the BEE Program Director at your school at least four weeks in advance. A full refund will be made for all weeks in excess of the 4-week notice period. The refund of any money due can only be made by the BEE office or representative where the course fees were paid. All refunds will be processed by the BEE office or representative within 30 days of notification.
There is a separate Refund Policy for the Academic Year Abroad and Multi-Language Year Programs. Students applying for these will be sent an enrolment packet with full information.
Cancellation Insurance
We offer you optional Cancellation Insurance for a once only fee of $50. This premium should be paid at the same time as the Enrolment Fee and is non-refundable. If you choose to take Cancellation Insurance and are forced to cancel before departure due to illness, or illness in your immediate family, BEE will refund all fees, irrespective of when notice is received, with the exception of the insurance premium itself and the Enrolment and Courier Fees. (A doctor's certificate must be provided with each claim.)
Medical Insurance
All participants travelling to the USA, Canada and Australia are required to have accident and health insurance. We strongly recommend that students attending any of your other schools, including in Europe, take similar precautions. We have negotiated favourable premiums for BEE students with an international insurance company. The policy protects you against expenses incurred through accident or illness, and provides coverage for loss or theft of baggage and personal effects. It provides coverage against interruption of your BEE program due to illness. The cost of this insurance is $55 for the first two weeks, then $16 for each additional week.
If you do not wish to take this policy, please indicate so on the Enrolment Form, at the same time providing us with a copy in English of the alternative insurance policy you have taken out individually.
Re-booking Fee
Each time you request a change of course town, course dates, or type of accommodation after your initial enrolment, BEE will charge you a re-booking fee of $45 which is payable immediately. (This does not apply to students who are extending their course.)
Late Arrivals and Absences
If you arrive late to a course, or are absent during your course, no refund will be granted. Periods of absence may not be made up with free extension of the course.
Course Levels
On arrival you will take a written examination to determine the level at which you should begin your studies. Every BEE school will provide up to eight levels.
Please note: when a school has a beginners' group of less than 5 students, BEE reserves the right to reduce the number of lessons per week.
Protection for Our Customers
BEE provides complete financial protection for customers, formalized according to EC directives, through an insurance policy that guarantees your money back, and your repatriation in the event of the company's failure.
Liability
BEE will not be liable in any way to the student in the event of any service, contracted to be supplied by BEE, becoming impossible to supply by reason of industrial dispute or other cause outside the control of BEE. BEE will not be liable for loss, damage, or injury to persons or property howsoever caused, save where the liability is expressly imposed beyond exclusion by statute.
Validity of Prices
Please note: the prices are based upon currency exchange rates in effect at the time of writing (10 May 1999). They are therefore subject to change, up to 30 days before your departure.
